What You Should Know Before Your Visit

Children's bills most insurance programs. The hospital has contracts with all major Health Maintenance Organizations (HMOs), Preferred Provider Organizations (PPOs), insurance companies, and medical assistance plans in Minnesota.

If you have insurance, read your benefits plan and communicate with your insurance provider so you understand your child's coverage.

If you do not have insurance, your child may be eligible for a medical assistance program. Our Financial Counselors can help you determine which medical assistance programs might be appropriate for your child.

If you have additional questions about coverage, you can contact a Children's Financial Customer Service Representative at (651) 855-2200.

Children's needs your most recent insurance information in order to bill for services in a timely and effective manner. Please notify us at (651) 855-2200 if your insurance plan changes or if your name or address changes at any time during the treatment of your child.
