In June 2007, Children’s Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota announced its plan to launch a multi-year initiative to expand and modernize its St. Paul and Minneapolis campuses. The estimated cost of the projects is $300 million. “These plans are all about enhancing our ability to apply new technology, practices and standards of care in an environment devoted exclusively to the next generation – our region’s children,” said Alan L. Goldbloom, MD, CEO and president of Children’s.
Construction is well underway in Minneapolis, and a groundbreaking celebration April 28 marked the beginning of campus expansion in St. Paul.
