Pain and Palliative Care

Clinics and Departments

Pain and Palliative Care seeks to relieve pain for all children in our care. This is a interdisciplinary team who work closely together to provide coordinated, holistic and on going care for the child and family at the point of their needs.

Our team includes the child’s physician, family, specially trained physicians, nurses, social workers, child life specialists, chaplains, and volunteers. We all work together in the hospital or at home in an effort to relieve the suffering of the child and family.

There are many parts of our program. We take care of children with acute and chronic pain and those who have complex medical needs with an uncertain future.

Our Programs Include:

Inpatient Pain and Palliative Care Team
