Thank You for a Great Event!
Thank you to all of you who came out in the rain to support HeartBeat 5000 on Saturday, June 27, 2009! The event had over 1,700 participants and this year, we topped the $1 million mark in money raised over the last 7 years to help support the cardiac program at Children's of Minnesota.
A huge thank you to our presenting sponsors, Medtronic and St. Jude Medical as well as our platinum sponsors, Boston Scientific, Minnesota Twins, StoneArch Creative, and Navarre.
We also would like to thank our 80 volunteers, 20 committee members and all of our patient families that put teams together. You are all critical to the success of this event and it couldn't have been done without you!

Thank you to the runners, walkers, and strollers who came together for children's health and Children's of Minnesota in 2008. The event raised nearly $165,000.

Shortly after Madelyn's birth she received a lifesaving pacemaker at Children's of Minnesota to help her heart to beat at a normal rate. This event is a tribute to Madelyn, and other children like her, for their spirit in the face of heart defects that challenge their health and well-being. |
