Mark your calendars! The 6th Annual PaceMaker 5000 will take place on Saturday, June 28, 2008 at the Stone Arch Bridge in Downtown Minneapolis.
Last year nearly 1,900 runners, walkers, and strollers came together for children's health and Children's Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota at the 5th annual PaceMaker 5000. The event last year raised nearly $160,000.
In it's short history PaceMaker 5000 has raised close to $650,000 for Children's of Minnesota. Net proceeds benefit Children's cardiac care and other family needs.

Shortly after Madelyn's birth she received a lifesaving pacemaker at Children's of Minnesota to help her heart to beat at a normal rate. PaceMaker 5000 is a tribute to Madelyn, and other children like her, for their spirit in the face of heart defects that challenge their health and well-being.
