Collect only one level at any time except during infusion. Specify all antifungal agents patient is receiving. Some antifungal agents cannot be tested in the presence of others. This test may be performed in the presence of 5-fluorocytosine. To reduce turnaround, notify laboratory as soon as intent to collect level is known so organism can be prepared.
