Send agar slant, thioglycollate tube or agar plate inoculated with organism to be identified. Organism must be pure and actively growing.
|
Transport/Storage:
|
Place agar slant, thioglycollate tube or agar plate in a proper transport container and labeled as a Biohazard/Etiological Agent. Transport at room temperature. Must arrive within 24 hours.

Organism non-viable; improperly labeled specimen
