Patient insurance and demographic data must be included with the request form and specimen sent to the reference laboratory. Also MUST provide clinical history and diagnosis.

5 mL (Minimum: 2 mL) blood

Collection:

Routine venipuncture. Anticoagulant to blood ratio is important. If you use a 10 mL EDTA tube, fill with 10 mL for proper dilution. Under filling of tube will cause cancellation of test.

Special Processing:

Lab Staff: Do Not process. Submit specimen in its original container. Maintain specimen at room temperature. Must contact the reference lab before sending the specimen.
