Aseptically collect tissue as soon as possible after delivery. Placenta should be taken from the fetal surface (include tissue from inside the placenta). Place all specimens collected in a screw-capped, sterile container with sterile saline or RPMI media. Refrigerate specimens after collection. Specimens cannot be frozen. Forward promptly.
