Test Indications:
|
Useful for differential diagnosis of intestinal disorders such as celiac disease and Crohn’s disease. The antireticulin antibody is observed in 20% of cases of dermatitis herpetiformis and 35% of cases in sprue.
Note: Mayo no longer recommends this test. The preferred test is Tissue Transglutaminase Antibody.
