Outcomes

Children’s hematology/oncology treatment results are consistently among the best in the nation. Overall, hematology and oncology patients experience low mortality rates and shorter hospital stays compared with patients at other leading pediatric hospitals in the U.S.

Reviewing and comparing outcomes data can be complex as every hospital collects and presents data differently. Also, hospitals sometimes treat unique, difficult-to-compare patients. If you have a question about Children’s data, we encourage you to speak to your physician. We are happy to talk to you about program outcomes and the prognosis for your child or teen.
