Our focus on pediatric emergency care, along with the development of a Level 1 Pediatric Trauma center, ranks Children's among the most comprehensive pediatric emergency departments in the nation.

These six areas for measuring quality of care were developed by the Institute of Medicine and are widely used by health care organizations.
