AGFA Heartlab™ Echocardiography System

The Web-based AGFA Heartlab system allows Children’s pediatric cardiologists to review and analyze echocardiograms sent via the Web. Analyses typically are provided within two hours. There is a subscription fee for the originating hospital.

In addition to the availability of Heartlab, Children’s has the only certified pediatric echocardiography program in the region. Children’s respiratory care practitioners and sonographers are solely dedicated to pediatrics and highly experienced in the unique cardiovascular conditions of children.

Each year, the Children’s team provides more than 8,000 echocardiographic interpretations, including more than 500 digitally transmitted echocardiograms from across the region.
