A: During the RN Residency Program, you will have the opportunity to learn about many areas of pediatric nursing (i.e. med/surg, critical care, neonatal, emergency services, surgical services, etc.).

Q: When will I hear if I have been accepted to the program?
A:
Applications are due February 10, 2009. Resident position offers will be made late March or early April 2009.

Q: Is this a Minnesota Nurses Association contract position?
A:
Yes, like all nurses at Children’s, the nurse residents will be a part of the Minnesota Nurses Association.

Q: What are my salary and benefits?

The salary and benefits of a nurse resident will be the same as any other new graduate nurse at Children’s and is competitive with other new graduate programs in the area.

A:
The shifts for the RN Residency Program will be either day/evening or day/night shifts.

Q: When will I get my schedule?
