Matthew Mehr Golf Classic
Proceeds from this tournament, held at Crystal Lake Golf Course in Lakeville, benefit the Cancer Kids Fund
The 17th annual Matthew Mehr Golf Classic, hosted by the Minneapolis Southwest Lion Club, will be held Monday June 1, 2009 at Crystal Lake Golf Course in Lakeville. Festivities include: open driving range, scramble format 18-hole golf tournament with on-course contests, auctions and dinner. Proceeds of this tournament benefit the Cancer Kids Fund. This fund provides support, caring and hope to kids and families coping with cancer or blood disorders through support of patient and staff education, family services, equipment and clinical research. This event also benefits the Cleft & Craniofacial Clinic of Children's Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota. Individual golfer and corporate sponsorships are available.
