Agenda:

- Jane announced that transportation funds would be available for those traveling to and from Huntsville, AL for training. Funds would be available per person up to $500 after a request form is completed. Finalized details will be discussed at the RCAC MOU meeting in Washington D.C.

- This weekend Jane, Monica and Gene are traveling to Washington D.C. to participate at Grants Review. Jane was disappointed that applications from our region lacked in number from tribal areas and program funding opportunities.

- NCA is currently working on introducing new standards to go along with the new “accredited” status in membership. Jane will keep everyone updated as new information comes in. Significant information on this issue will most likely be available next fall.

- Kim gave the preliminary results of the CAC Director Survey that was sent out and completed over the month of October. The top two requests from Directors around the region were in regards to funding and having templates of documents, resources, etc at their fingertips. Kim will compile a template book to send out to the CAC’s so Director’s will have a better resource that is readily available to them. Please send examples of what you would like to see to Kim.
