Agenda:
New conference line phone number: from now on we will be accessing the following phone number for all of our advisory board calls: 1-877-729-6158. Follow the prompts and when prompted, the meeting room/reservation number is 8324014521 followed by the # sign.
Leadership reimbursement: there will be a cap of $1500 in reimbursement to attend leadership to include: hotel, registration and airfare. Anne can book your flights if you choose.
Journal Club: 4 mental health calls will be scheduled for each month. Future calls will include victim advocacy, to begin in 3 months, followed by a call for directors over the next year.
Hospital Summit: August 3-4, 2009 in Bloomington, MN. Ideally we’d like to have “teams” of a CAC director, Medical Provider and an MDT member. Each region will select several “teams” to attend, for a total of 12 teams.
Funding increase: our next fiscal payout will increase and we’re coming up with ideas on how to utilize these funds. Jane stated that she would like to give the chapters an additional $5000 if the chapter has a paid coordinator (not necessarily full-time) and not a coordinator who is a CAC director. Forensic Interview training and Facilitator training are two areas where we would like to begin providing scholarships to with this increase in funds. Addtionally, the NCA n.e.t. partial funding pool would be increased. If you have other suggestions please email Jane.
Telehealth(THICM): Jane asked everyone to please continue to press your center directors to encourage their medical providers to sign-up for Telehealth. To sign-up people should go to www.thicm.org and click on “join THICM” to complete a pre-registration survey. After completing the survey they will receive an email with login-information within 48 hours.
