Services

  • Patients may be admitted 24 hours a day.
  • Many insurance plans must issue prior authorization for a hospital admission. Physician offices or families are responsible to obtain the required pre-authorization.
  • The Pre-surgery program for patients, their siblings, and their parents includes a tour of the hospital and a discussion on how the family can prepare for the coming hospital visit.

Children’s – Minneapolis
For children 9 years and younger, tours are offered Mondays (excluding holidays) at 6:30 p.m. No registration needed for children 10 years and older. The program is offered the second Tuesday (excluding holidays) of each month at 6:30 p.m. Register for this tour by calling (612) 813-6259. Pre-surgery tour
