Services

The Family Resource Center is staffed with supportive, caring professionals who assist families with the following services and amenities:

• Consumer health and safety information (books, brochures, newsletters, and videos).
• Parenting information and resources (books, brochures, magazines, videos, and “Parent Warmline,” a free telephone consultation service at (612) 813-6336).
• Information about community resources (support groups, classes, social service agencies).
• Information about local services (restaurants, hotels, parks, transportation).
• Complimentary beverages, leisure reading materials, and a quiet, comfortable soothing environment for relaxation.
• Access to computers, the Internet, and e-mail.
• Free, customized, secure patient Web pages to stay in touch with friends and relatives.
• Complimentary fax and photocopy services.
• Pager and digital camera checkout.
