Best Buy Geek Squad agents make special delivery to Children’s - Minneapolis

Recently nine Geek Squad agents from Best Buy in Roseville, MN, arrived at Children’s – Minneapolis in their trademark orange, black, and white Volkswagen Beetle to deliver 14 netbook computers. The portable netbooks, donated by Best Buy, will be available for patients and families to use during their stay at Children’s. Best Buy has been an invaluable corporate partner in helping Children’s begin to incorporate technology to improve the hospital experience for children and their families.

Agents made the delivery just in time to appear on Can-Can Café, a live, interactive television program filmed on-location in the Minneapolis Sibling Play Area for patients and their families. The show is aired live over Children’s closed-circuit television on both the Minneapolis and St. Paul hospital campuses.

Following Can-Can Café, Geek Squad agents joined more than 150 patients and families for a picnic lunch on campus. Agents served meals, but spent most of their time talking and having fun with patients and their families.
