Median Body Mass Index (BMI) percentile for cystic fibrosis (CF) patients 2-20 years of age

BMI is a nutritional indicator that is calculated by dividing body weight in kilograms by height in meters squared. In patients with CF, a higher BMI is related to better lung function. Children's performs better than the national average for CF Centers.
This measure uses data from the National CF Registry. Approximately 23,000 patients are part of the CF Registry.
This measure is updated annually.
