Hemoglobin A1c is a measure of blood sugar control over a period of time. The National Committee of Quality Assurance (NCQA) in conjunction with the American Diabetes Association establishes blood sugar level goals. Children's has the same percent of patients in good and poor control compared to the NCQA goals.

This measure uses data from the Children's Data Warehouse and is updated quarterly.
