At Children's - St. Paul, a state-of-the-art, 12-room Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), which opened in January 2011, offers a glimpse at the innovative transformation underway. When the remainder of the project is complete in 2011, the remarkable new Children’s - St. Paul will include:
A 30,000-square-foot surgery center with four suites
An emergency department featuring updated trauma rooms, a new triage area, and a new welcome/check-in area
A 12-bed pediatric intensive care unit with all private patient rooms
