Volunteers Are Service Stars: Kenia Kaczor
Tuesday, November 29th, 2011Mounds Park Students Donate Blankets!
Wednesday, November 9th, 2011A huge thank-you to the students and families at Mounds Park Academy, who donated beautiful tie blankets yesterday to Children’s Hospital-St. Paul! Families worked together on the project during an organized evening event at the school, tying the sides of large squares of fleece material to create warm and colorful blankets. The fleece blankets are the perfect size for older children and teens here at Children’s Hospital!

Thank you for your hard work and kind donation!
Veteran Volunteer Recognition
Friday, November 4th, 2011Did you know that nearly 100 volunteers have served Children’s Hospital for 3 years or longer?!
To celebrate the incredible work and ongoing commitment of our “veteran” volunteers, a recognition luncheon was held on Saturday, October 29th. Volunteers, guests, pet therapy dogs, and Volunteer Services staff gathered at the Town and Country Club in St. Paul for lunch, musical entertainment, and a brief program.
Children’s Hospital CEO Alan Goldbloom provided updates on new developments and projects at Children’s. A special highlight from Saturday’s program was hearing from a family about their patient experience at Children’s Hospital, including the impact that volunteers had on this experience.
