WinterFest Fun Week at Children’s-St. Paul!

Beginning next Thursday, January 26th, Children’s-St. Paul will be celebrating “WinterFest Fun Week” with treats, activities and fun–open to all volunteers, staff and visitors!

Timed to coincide with the St. Paul Winter Carnival, there will be a new theme each weekday, from Thursday, January 26th through Friday, February 2nd.

Opportunities to volunteer with WinterFest Fun Week events are still available! Give Kristi or Lisa a call at 651-220-6141 to sign up to help out!

The WinterFest Fun Week activities are being coordinated by the Children’s Hospital staff/volunteer community outreach committee, Hands Joining Hands (HJH). This group organizes opportunities for engagement and volunteerism within the hospital and community. There is an active Hands Joining Hands group on each hospital campus, and volunteers are always invited to become involved! Just speak with any Children’s Volunteer Coordinator for more information!

Celebrating Martin Luther King, Jr. Day!

A big THANK YOU to the volunteers who assisted with Children’s Hospital’s celebration of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day on Monday. In Minneapolis, volunteers Sarah Hovseth, Riley McDaid and Shannon Forsythe helped cut and share cake with staff, while in St. Paul, volunteers Jackie Stotts and Meredith Gilroy distributed cupcakes to each department.

In St. Paul, volunteers Meredith Gilroy (left) and Jackie Stotts (right) sort hundreds of cupcakes!
