Children’s Speakers Bureau is a professional resource for up-to-date, practical information for physicians, nurses, and medical staff. Educational presentations are available at no cost and on a wide variety of pediatric topics.
Children’s Speakers Bureau presentations are presented by physicians and other health care professionals associated with Children’s.
• pediatric subspecialists
• primary care pediatricians
• child psychologists and social workers
• nurse practitioners
• advanced practice nurses
• registered nurses
• child life specialists
• allied health professionals
Presentations may vary based on the individual interests and educational goals of the audience; however, most topics are covered in one-hour talks that include opportunities for audience or case discussion. Presentations that include skills lab or hands-on learning are covered in 90 minutes.
To see a complete list of the topics available please review the Speakers Bureau booklet. Topics are organized by pediatric subspecialty. If you are interested in a topic not found here, we will make every effort to locate a speaker to meet your needs. All presentations are designed to address the audience’s specific needs and are intended to be applicable in your practice.
Check out our calendar of upcoming Speakers Bureau presentations.
We are best able to accommodate requests with lead time of one month or more. We will, however, do our best to meet your needs on shorter notice. If desired, Children’s will request continuing-education credits for presentations. CME, ANCC, and/or Minnesota Board of Nursing credits are available. While approval is likely, it cannot be guaranteed.
