Plan your own event or fundraiser
Anyone, from kids to corporations, patient families to volunteer groups, can plan an event benefiting Children's. All of the proceeds from these events can go to the area of the hospital that you feel is important.
The type of event is up to you! Here are just a few examples of events that have been successful in the past. The possibilities are endless - be creative!
Erik's Tournament for the Heart
This golf tournament is a 4-ball scramble format that attracts over 140 players! Following the tournament is a social hour, silent auction and awards ceremony. Proceeds benefit the Heart Clinic in honor of Erik, who has undergone 3 successful heart surgeries at Children's. This event has raised over $32,000 in the last three years!
Challenge for Children's Big Game
MN Pro Paintball hosts the annual Big Game and raised over $26,600 this year alone! Players participated in objective-based paintball with over 350 other players. Registration fees included admission, air fills, and a raffle ticket. The event included the game, lunch, raffle drawing, prizes and awards.
Twin Cities Thursday Happy Hours
The third annual TCTHH Charity Event was held at 514 Studios in the North Loop, Mpls. It featured a balloon pop, silent auction, live music and appetizers. The event had a few sponsors, generous donor and 125 attendees all help in raising nearly $15,000 for the NICU!
