Great Clips Charity Golf Classic
In its more than 25 years of existence, Great Clips, Inc. has had a history of giving back, and that tradition continues strong. The Great Clips Charity Golf Classic began in 1997 as a means to provide funding and awareness for underfunded but necessary programs at Children’s Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota. In the 14 years since it's inception, the event has raised almost $2,200,000 for programs at Children's. The Great Clips Charity Golf Classic is a collaborative effort between the Great Clips corporate office in Edina, Minn., and the Associations of Children’s Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota–Minneapolis and St. Paul. This year's event was held on June 27, 2011 at Bearpath Country Club.

Great Clips Volunteers
In addition to the annual Cut-a-Thon, local Great Clips stylists continue to support Children's by coming to the hospital on a monthly basis to cut and style the hair of patients and families who are unable to leave the hospital. These haircuts range from quick trims for parents to helping cancer patients through the process of losing their hair.
