Influenza prevention education is an important step to keeping kids healthy during the flu season. That is why the Kohl’s Cares program awarded Children’s a $441,259 grant in 2009, a $422,000 grant in 2010 and a $483,230 grant in 2011 to create the Kohl’s and Children’s Influenza Prevention Project for Kids. The project offers free vaccination clinics and educational assemblies in schools to teach children about flu prevention. Kohl's is offering free flu shot clinics September 13-14 to help protect kids from the flu and educate them about flu safety.

Usborne Books & More is partnering with Children's Hospital & Clinics of Minnesota to give patients an opportunity to lose themselves in their imagination with a great book. Help us give a child an imaginary break to explore the limits that their minds can take them. Donate a book from the Usborne Wishlist to make a child smile!
