Foundation Volunteering

Volunteering for the Children's Foundation is a great way for individuals, along with groups and corporations, to be involved in one-time volunteering opportunities and can be at Children's, offsite or at an event.

Individual Volunteers

Volunteers are an integral part of the Children's team, bringing a community of caring individuals to share in the Children's mission. Volunteers support patients and families through their hospital and clinic visits by welcoming, guiding, providing bedside activities and a variety of other activities. Please review the application process and program requirements. • Put together activity kits for patients and siblings (arts & crafts, coloring books, friendship bracelets, lego sets, etc). Note that quality is much more meaningful for our patients than quantity. Also, consider kits for all ages toddlers through teenagers.
  • Do you love planning fun events or parties? Consider hosting a community fundraiser to benefit the patients and families at Children’s. Contact Kiirsten Preble at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. for more information.
  • Make a warm and kid-friendly fleece tie blanket or pillowcase.
