Pediatric ENT Associates became part of Children’s Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota and the clinic name changed to: Children’s ENT and Facial Plastic Surgery effective October 1. James Sidman, MD, Robert Tibesar, MD, Timothy Lander, MD, and the staff of Pediatric ENT Associates are now employees of Children’s. With the change, Children’s Cleft and Craniofacial Clinic will move on November 5 and become integrated within the ENT and facial plastic surgery clinic on the Children’s Minneapolis campus.
The acquisition of Pediatric ENT Associates strengthens even further Children’s ENT program and offers new opportunities to enhance care for simple to complex otolaryngology cases. While we continue to value and work closely with other ENT groups on our professional staff, this move also allows us to expand services to geographical areas not well covered today.
With their offices located on our Minneapolis campus in Children’s Specialty Center, Pediatric ENT Associates and Children’s have a strong history of working collaboratively. Dr. Sidman serves as Children’s medical director of otolaryngology/ear, nose and throat (ENT) and some of our interdisciplinary clinics including cleft/craniofacial, plagiocephaly, vascular anomalies, velocardiofacial syndrome and recurrent respiratory papillomatosis.
Patients and families will experience the same high level of care and compassion that they have come to expect at both Pediatric ENT Associates and Children’s.
