What is Children's EMR View?
Children's EMR View enables you, as a physician/clinician, to remotely view the electronic medical record (EMR) of patients you referred to Children's.
EMR view provides immediate, view-only access to the patient's EMR, allowing you to monitor your patient's condition and treatment while at Children's. Using EMR View, you have real-time information available for consulting with your patient's attending physician, if necessary.

Education
Continuing Medical Education (CME)

Children's offers continuing medical education opportunities to fit your needs. We offer Grand Rounds electronically so you can view a presentation and get a certificate of attendance -- all online. You may also attend weekly Grand Rounds in person at Children's - St. Paul or via webstream in Minneapolis on Thursday mornings. Pediatric conferences are available various times throughout the year.
Graduate Medical Education (GME)

The Graduate Medical Education (GME) department at Children's provides educational and clinical training to medical students and residents in all departments of Children's - Minneapolis and Children's - St. Paul.
Conferences
Children’s offers two main conferences each year designed to meet the needs of health care professionals who work with children including pediatricians, family practice physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants. Other specialized conferences are offered throughout the year. Each fall, we offer Practical Pediatrics with content that is helpful to those working in a clinic setting. Each spring, our Pediatric Update conference focuses on mental health.

Roxanne Fernandes, MHA, RN Chief Nursing Officer Roxanne Fernandes joined Children’s Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota as Chief Nursing Officer in May 2011. She has more than 30 years of experience in pediatrics - most recently as executive director of the University of California, San Francisco, Children’s Hospital. Ms. Fernandes holds a master’s degree from the University of San Francisco and a bachelor’s of science in nursing from San Jose State University. |
