PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residents
Fan Zhang received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Minnesota in May 2015. As a student, Fan worked as a pharmacy intern at the outpatient pharmacy at Children's Hospital Minneapolis. Fan's current professional areas of interest include infectious disease, pediatric critical care, and general pediatrics. After her residency, she hopes to work as a clinical pharmacist in a pediatric acute care hospital and serve as a preceptor to pharmacy students and residents. In her spare time, Fan enjoys swimming, playing board games with friends and family, and mini golf.
Karissa Miller earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree at North Dakota State University in May of 2015. During her residency, Karissa wishes to expand upon her pharmacy knowledge and experience in the areas of general pediatrics, infectious disease, and critical care. In her free time she enjoys playing tennis, jet-skiing, and spending time with her family and friends.
Tyler Golembiewski graduated from Midwestern University-Chicago College of Pharmacy with his Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 2013. Tyler spent two years in Milwaukee, WI managing a retail pharmacy before beginning the PGY1 residency at Children's. Tyler looks forward to exploring the various specialties that Children's provides, while developing skills as a clinical pharmacist. His interests include ambulatory medicine and emergency care. Outside of pharmacy, Tyler enjoys Packers and Badgers football, hiking, and traveling amongst other activities.
PGY2 Pediatric Specialty Resident
Robert Casey (RC) Hellinga earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree at the University of Utah in 2014. RC subsequently completed his PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Residency with Pediatric Emphasis at Wolfson Children's Hospital/Baptist Health in Jacksonville, Florida. RCs areas of interest include: pediatric pulmonology, cystic fibrosis, asthma and infectious diseases. RCs long term goals include becoming board certified in pediatrics and working in ambulatory pulmonology. Outside of pharmacy, RC enjoys spending time with my wife and family. When time allows, RC also enjoys playing ultimate frisbee, basketball, and football and watching hockey, football, and basketball. RC also likes The Big Bang Theory, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings and going to see super hero movies.
