Diane Alexander graduated with a BS degree from the University of Minnesota in 1979 and received her PharmD degree from the University of Florida in 2008. She has worked at Children's of Minnesota since 1992, starting out as a staff pharmacist, moving to operation's supervisor, Clinical Leader and now as the Director of Pharmacy.
Diane is a primary preceptor for one of the residents on the Minneapolis campus.
Diane remains active in pediatric hematology/oncology and is a member of the pharmacy committee in the Children's Oncology Group (COG) and works with chemotherapy order set development for new protocols. She also helps precept general pediatrics and hematology/oncology rotations for both the residents and PharmD students.
She enjoys working at Children's because of the variety of services they offer. There is always opportunity for learning.
