The Cystic fibrosis (CF) program at Children's Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota diagnoses and treats children in all stages of CF. Our dedication to family-centered care and education helps patients and their families learn to live with CF. Services include a continuum of care through coordinated inpatient and outpatient services, from diagnosis through long-term follow-up.
The Cystic Fibrosis Center of Children's Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota provides state-of-the art comprehensive care for Children with CF. Patients at Children's benefit from expanded research opportunities and quality improvement only available at CF centers.

Our multidisciplinary cystic fibrosis team is dedicated to providing the best possible care, so that children with CF are able to achieve and maintain the best possible health and live full productive lives. Our comprehensive team is able to meet the unique and complex needs of our patients in a way that only a full-service children's hospital can. Our team consists of people with special training and expertise caring for children with CF.
Children's Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota Cystic Fibrosis Center is an affiliate center accredited by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (cff.org). Only institutions that meet stringent criteria and provide high-quality, specialized CF care are accredited.
In Dec. 2006, CF outcomes data was made available to the public on the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF) Web site at cff.org. Our CF center's patient outcomes reported by the CFF are among the best in the nation. This includes very important measures of lung function and nutritional status.
