Flu vaccine clinics
The flu has begun to circulate in Minnesota with a strain known to cause more severe illness in children. Learn more from our director of infectious disease.
The best way to prevent the flu is to get vaccinated. The flu vaccine is 70 to 90 percent effective in preventing influenza. Children's encourages everyone 6 months of age and older to get vaccinated against influenza, and offers many ways for your child to get vaccinated.
Visit the Children's general pediatric clinics on our Minneapolis or St. Paul campuses and at any of our aligned pediatric clinics throughout the Twin Cities. Find a location near you.

There are many flu vaccine clinics offered throughout Minnesota. Find a location near you.
As part of the Kohl's Cares and Children's Flu Prevention Project, area schools in Minneapolis and St. Paul have the opportunity to host flu vaccine clinics for students and their families throughout the months of September through December.
If your school is interested in setting up a flu vaccine clinic this year, please contact Kathy Como-Sabetti at 651-220-5555.
