About Star Gala

This year, proceeds from Children’s Star Gala support The Mother Baby Center – a new facility made possible through a partnership between Children’s – Minneapolis and Abbott Northwestern. Being built on Children’s – Minneapolis campus and opening in Feb. 2013, The Mother Baby Center combines Abbott Northwestern’s labor, delivery and newborn services with Children’s neonatal care unit – all under one roof. The Mother Baby Center also brings an enhanced environment of comfort, service and technology for all moms and babies – no matter what level of care is needed – and, in turn, drives improved outcomes.
