Ayden's Story

Our story began in June 2007, when little Ayden came into the world at 23 weeks and 2 days. He weighed 1 lb. 1 oz. Two weeks after he was born, he had the PDA heart surgery, and a couple weeks after that he had the ROP eye surgery.

After having 2 full-term babies we had no idea how to handle all of this. We were grateful for all the support the staff at Children's gave to our family. They made sure we knew exactly what was going on when we were away.

On November 12, 2007 we were discharged and able to come home. Ayden is know 13 months old and doing GREAT!
