Family Advisory Council

Expectations of Council Members

Participation:

  • The council expects members to positively express their opinions and suggestions and know that other members may not share the same point of view.

  • The council expects members to positively work in partnership with people of different backgrounds.

  • The goal is to have a council that represents all families who use Children’s. The council seeks representation from various campuses, programs and services, and culturally divers backgrounds.

  • Members are encouraged to participate on committees outside of the council; days and times vary.

  • Members are expected to read documents in preparation for each meeting and respond to e-mail and voice mail.

  • Most terms will be held for three years.
