Fetal Diagnosis

A pediatric cardiologist is available for consultation in fetal cardiac problems including the diagnosis and management of fetal arrhythmias, hydrops fetalis, and structural or functional heart disease. Pediatric cardiologists provide more than 200 fetal echocardiograms per year.

Children’s has the only certified pediatric echocardiography program in the region. Children’s respiratory care practitioners and sonographers are solely dedicated to pediatrics and highly experienced in the unique cardiovascular conditions of children.
