Jackie’s Story

“Each day is special”

Jackie's mother is telling her story. Jackie is very special, she was born with a heart and lung defect which was diagnosed when she was 6 months old. The heart and lung surgery at 2 1/2 years old was not successful. Jackie struggles with low oxygen saturation rates and very little energy.

We recently expanded the doctor contacts when a brain tumor was found March 2009. Jackie visits Children’s Hospital many times each year, along with many doctor office visits. Thanks for doctors Kurachek, Maslonka, Bendel, Boetticher, Friedrichsdorf, Levinson, Sutton, Singh and I'm sure others for the many years of care.

Each day is special with all the added complications of caring for my Jackie. God has made her special and unique, as she touches the lives of many who cross paths with Jackie.
