Children’s Speakers Bureau is a professional resource for up-to-date, practical information for physicians and medical staff. Educational presentations are available on a wide variety of pediatric topics.
Who are the speakers?
The speakers are physicians and other health care professionals associated with Children’s Hospitals and Clinics. These include pediatric sub-specialists, primary care pediatricians, child psychologists and social workers, nurse practitioners and other advanced practice nurses, registered nurses, child life specialists, and allied health professionals.
What are the topics?
Topics are available in most pediatric subspecialties. All presentations are designed to address the audience’s specific needs and are intended to be applicable in your practice.
A booklet containing the various presentations is available by calling the number below. If you are interested in a topic not found in the booklet, we will make every effort to locate a speaker to meet your needs.
Is there a fee?
There is no fee. Children’s Speaker Bureau is offered as a professional service to help disseminate up-to-date medical information that can be applied in daily practice.
What about CME credits?
If desired, Children’s will request CME credits for Speakers Bureau presentations.
While approval is likely, it cannot be guaranteed.
How much advance notice is needed to schedule a speaker?
We are best able to accommodate requests with one month or more lead time.
We will, however, do our best to meet your needs on shorter notice.
