Physical Therapy for Hematology/Oncology Patients
The physical therapists on the hematology/oncology team work full-time with children and teens coping with cancer/blood disorders. The goal of physical therapy is ensuring that, as much as possible, your child is able to:
- Participate in regular daily activities.
- Develop physical skills appropriate to age.
- Be as independent as possible.
Physical therapists work with children on an inpatient and outpatient basis.
