Internet Safety at Children’s of Minnesota

The Internet represents a world of resources, ideas, and information.

The Internet offers access to a lot of information that can be personally, professionally, and culturally enriching to people of all ages. However it also enables access to material that can be inappropriate or unsafe for children.

To protect patients and their families, it is Children's policy to block content and Web sites that may affect their safety and security. This includes Web sites with obscene or inappropriate content, and access to social networking sites that may expose children to Internet users who have harmful intentions.
