Drawing blood samplesPlease ask at the front desk --additional shipping charges may apply. If you have a pre-packaged mailer, please bring it with you and Children's will take care of sending it. For safety reasons, Children's is unable to turn specimens over to you directly.
Ordering your own testsNOTE: This testing is not meant as a substitute for regular medical care. ▪ A physician's order is not required for these tests. ▪ Come directly to Children's laboratory --do not register at the admitting desk. ▪ You must pay for the tests in advance by cash, check, or credit card; Children's will not bill your insurance. ▪ The tests are available Monday -Friday, 7 a.m. to 7.p.m. No appointment is needed. Limited service is available on weekends; please call ahead to check. ▪ Depending on the testing, you may wait for the results or choose to have them mailed directly to you. You are encouraged to share them with your health care provider. ▪ Any one under age 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
