Ordering your own lab tests
Note: This testing is not meant as a substitute for regular medical care.
● A physician’s order is not required for these tests.
● Come directly to Children’s laboratory
-- do not register at the admitting desk
● You must pay cash for the tests in advance by cash, check, or credit card; Children’s will not
bill you insurance.
● The tests are available Monday-Friday, 7 AM to 7 PM. No appointment is needed. Limited
service is available on weekends; please call ahead to check.
● Depending on the testing, you may wait for the results or choose to have them mailed directly to you. You are encouraged to share them with your health care provider.
● Any one under the age of 18 must be accompanied by parent or guardian.
