Surgeries are performed at Children’s – Minneapolis in traditional operating rooms or in the only dedicated pediatric cardiac catheterization lab in the Upper Midwest. Through the cardiac cath lab, families have access to less invasive procedures that can help children avoid open-heart surgeries and prolonged hospital stays.
