ACTION ALERT
Please Urge Congress to Protect Children in Health Reform! Take Just Three Minutes to Help!
For the first time in many years, our nation’s leaders are working to reform our country’s health care system - and it’s up to us to make sure that their proposals take care of the children we serve. During the week of June 17th, Congress is set to work on specific health care reform legislation. We need to make sure that children's access to health care services are protected in the reform bill that is being debated.
For children, access means receiving pediatric-specific services, having enough pediatricians and pediatric specialists nearby, and paying pediatric providers enough to accept patients from both public and private insurance plans.
There is just a short window of time to influence the proposed legislation. Please take just a few minutes to go to http://capwiz.com/nach/issues/alert/?alertid=13484141&type=CO. Under the “Action Alert” box you will be asked to type in your home ZIP code and click “Go”.
Please personalize your message - describe why it’s important to you that the children have access to the right care in the right place at the right time. Personalized letters make the greatest impression on elected officials.
Thank you for volunteering to speak now for our hospital and the children we serve.
