Four Children’s Nurses Graduate from St Kate’s Baccalaureate Completion Program
The College of St. Catherine hosted a graduation pinning ceremony on Wednesday, June 11, 2008, for students graduating with their Bachelor of Science in nursing degree.
Four nurses from Children’s participated in the program, and recently graduated with their baccalaureate degree. Congratulations to Tanya Ingvaldson, BS, RN, Jodi Knott, BS, RN, Samantha Myers, BS, RN, and Gail Schneider, BS, RN, on this achievement!

St. Catherine’s Weekend College offers a baccalaureate completion program in nursing through collaboration with Children’s Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota, Abbott Northwestern Hospital, and Phillips Eye Institute. The program offers classes on weekday evenings, allowing students to meet professional and family obligations while earning their baccalaureate degree. The program classes are held either on the Children’s Minneapolis or Abbott campuses with some additional classes offered on the College of St. Catherine’s St. Paul campus.
The Center for Professional Development and Practice at Children’s is part of the steering committee for this program and would like to acknowledge the graduates for their hard work and dedication towards completing their degree.
