Pain and Palliative Care Conference:
Managing Pain in Infants, Children & Teens
Nurses and other health care professionals are invited to attend the upcoming conference, Managing Pain in Infants, Children & Teens, on November 21, 2008. This daylong conference hosted by Children’s Pain and Palliative Care Program will provide education on state-of-the art pain management for children. Specific topics include:

● Relaxation and integrative therapies
● Opioid/benzodiazepine withdrawal
● Pain in neonates
● Challenges in assessment
● Working with children in pain and their families
