Children’s - Minneapolis hospital front entrance closed

The front entrance to the Minneapolis campus of Children’s Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota is now closed to allow for demolition and remodeling.

During the remodeling of the front entrance there will no longer be a Welcome Center on the first floor of the hospital. There will be a Welcome Center added to the second floor of Children’s Specialty Center.

Enter the hospital through first floor of Children’s Specialty Center, located across from the hospital on Chicago Avenue. Take the elevator to the second floor and take the skyway to the hospital.

You can also enter the hospital from one of the parking ramps.

Parking Ramps

Convenient parking is available in the Children’s Specialty Center parking ramp off 26th Street, west of Chicago Avenue. The entrance to the hospital patient/visitor parking ramp is at 26th Street and Elliot Avenue. You may also enter the ramp off Chicago Avenue. Parking fees are posted at the ramp entrance.
